Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol (PETG)

Characteristics

Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol (PETG) is a thermoplastic polymer approved for the food market. Transparent, it offers remarkable potential uses. It provides high impact resistance, but its low density makes it less scratch-resistant.

This plastic can be cut with a saw and also offers great flexibility in thermoforming. However, its ease of bending distinguishes it from other plastics. The bending can even be done at low temperatures, opening the door to numerous design options.
